Brighter Outlook CBT is an evidence-based treatment clinic dedicated to providing high-quality, specialized care across the lifespan: children, teens, and adults. We offer research-supported, results-oriented treatment in the context of a warm and supportive therapeutic relationship.
We will work together with you to develop an individually tailored treatment plan with goals that are unique to your needs, history, and values and methods for assessing progress and change over time. We take an integrative approach to care. We often collaborate with other treating professionals, offering training and support where needed in order to make a system-wide impact.
Both tele-health and in-person options are available depending on your preference and location.


What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT?
CBT is an evidence-based approach that guides the client to make life and behavior changes through active exploration of the connection between thoughts, feeling and behaviors. It is present focused and goal oriented, offering practical strategies and problem solving to address specific life situations and build resilience.

About
Dr. Raggi
Dr. Veronica Raggi is a licensed psychologist with over 15 years of experience providing comprehensive and individualized care to youth, families and adults in the Maryland and DC metro area. She has particular expertise in the treatment of anxiety, depression, life stress, trauma, social or interpersonal challenges, and attention/motivational issues in children, teens and adults.
She previously practiced for ten years at the highly regarded practice, Alvord, Baker, & Associates, LLC. She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park and completed internship at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and postdoctoral training at New York University (NYU) Medical Center/ Child Study Center.
